New Research Shows Vitamin D Slashes Risk of Cancers by 77%.

Exciting New Research conducted at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska has revealed that supplementing with Vitamin D and calcium can reduce your risk of Cancer by an astonishing 77 percent. This includes breast cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer and other forms of cancer.

This research provides strong new evidence that Vitamin D is the single most effective medicine against Cancer, far outpacing the benefits of any cancer drug known to modern science.

The study involved 1,179 healthy women from rural Nebraska. One group of women was given calcium (around 1500 mg daily) and Vitamin D (1100 IU daily) while anither group was given a placebo.Over four years, the group recieving the calcium and vitamin D supplements showed a 60 percent decrease in cancers.
Considering just tye last three years of the study reveals an impressive 77 percent reduction in cancer due to supplementation.

Note that these astonishing effects were achieved on what many nutritionists consider to be a low dose of Vitamin D.
Exposure to sunlight, which creates even more Vitamin D in the body was not tested or considered, and the quality of the calcium supplements was likely not as high as it could have been (it was probably calcium carbonate and not high grade calcium malate, aspartate or similiar forms).

What does this all mean? It means that if you take high quality calcium supplements and get lots of natural sunlight exposure or take premium Vitamin D supplements (such as those made from fish oil),you could easilyhave a greater reduction than the 77 percent reduction recorded in this study.

Coconut Oil The Natural Anti - Viral

Source Naturals Coconut Oil Extra Virgin softgels

In a time when strange Viruses are making headlines around the World, Perhaps it's time you knew about the most powerful natural antiviral around: Coconut Oil.

The Antiviral activity in Coconut Oil is remarkable, even amongst the most resistant viruses and the best part is it's Virgin and Organic without a man made chemical in the mix.

Think this to good to be true?

Bruce Fife author of "The Coconut Miracle" shares, "Laboratory tests have shown that the MCFAs (medium chain fatty acids) found in Coconut Oil are effective in destroying Viruses that cause Influenza,Measles,Herpes,Mononucleosis,Hepatitus C, and AIDS; Bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers,Throat infections,Pneumonia,Sinusitis,Urinary tract infections,Meningitus,Gonorrhea, and Toxic shock syndrome; Fungi and yeast that lead to Ringworm,Candida and Thrush;and Parasites that can cause intestional infections such as Giardiasis."

Sounds like a Powerhouse to me.

The Antiviral,Antibacterial and Antifungal properties of Coconut Oil are Directly attributed to the medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) in the oil, including Capric acid and Caprylic acid and the Powerful Lauric acid. These fatty acids are concentrated in Coconut Oil; they make up over 60 percent of all that's in the oil.

Medium chain fatty acids are unique and found in only a few places in Nature. Interestingly, another place medium chain fatty acids are found is in Mothers Milk.
In Mothers Milk these medium chain fatty acids are some of the compounds that help protect the infant as his/her immune system is developing. And the More the Mother has in her body, the more protection the infant will recieve.

As Antiviral and Antibacterial agents, meduim chain fatty acids work like this:

Like humans,Viruses and Bacteria have a skin or outer coating to keep foreign invaders out.
Most Viruses and Bacteria have a malleable membrane that is composed of fatty substance.
Inside this membrane resides the rest of the organism, including the Organism's DNA.

Because the fatty acids in Coconut Oil are similiar to the Pathogen's own membrane, the fatty acids are attracted to the organism and are easily absorbed right into it.For the Pathogen,it's like opening the dorr to an axe murderer, because they look like it's best friend.

Once inside the Pathogen finds the medium chain fatty acids are actually much smaller than the fatty acids that make up it's own outer casing and this begins to break the Pathogen's casing.

According to Fife, the smaller medium chain fatty acids "Weaken the already nearly fluid membrane to such a degree that it Disintegrates. The membrane literally splits open, spilling its insides and Killing the Organism."

It does this without causing any Harm to Human Cells or Tissues.

Affiliate Marketing and the New Internet Road

Something has become very apparent to me through my journey of Internet Marketing and making money online with your own business, don't believe everything you see or hear!!, there are alot of sharks out there on the net just waiting for feeding time and unfortunately your, no we are the bait, being burly for the Internet sharks may be fine for awhile but after awhile it gets tiresome.

Of these sharks i include any PPC or Pay Per Click Advertising, whoever thought up that one must be wallowing around laughing in his bank vault, Scrooge McDuck comes to mind quite easily.
Why? It's a fact that out of all the PPC advertising you will do only around 2% will join or be converted.
What this means is that you either have to:
  • bankroll alot of PPC's for traffic volume
  • Be quite selective in your keywords to only gain the traffic or clicks you want but forfeit on volume
  • Be the first with an amazing product that the percentages will automatically be increased.
Now some people will say this is bull, but guess what, their the sharks, of course they will sell you a adwords secret program to gain more traffic and make more sales.

Lets face it the Internet business world is changing, even as little as 10 years ago it was easy to make money online, that's because there wasn't millions or billions more now online all trying to do the same thing.

Hands up all of those who constantly get bombarded with solutions that will make you Thousands of Dollars in a short amount of days, we all do and you know what, you shouldn't be ashamed if you have bought into any of these products thinking that your life was well on it's way to Financial Freedom, sitting in the location of your choice sipping what ever drink takes your fancy at the time with your business portal ( laptop ) handily sitting on your lap will you check the money rolling in.

We all have to pay for good education and you can chalk up any failures to being educated in what doesn't work.
Sadly what happens though is the motivation to succeed is slowly sucked from you, but trust me if you have bought into these programs feel free in the thoughts that you were just probably one of the unlucky 2% that signed up and your upline is doing just as hard as you.

Now it's not all doom and gloom.
If you really want to make a go at financial freedom you have to change the way you think.

Most of us want to start an online business for a multiple of reasons but the most common are:
  • A second income
  • Freedom to be your own boss and work when and how you want to
  • T o be wealthy, which ties into one and two.
Now i'm not going to sell you anything so get that out of your head right now!!

The reason why i say this is because this is the staging time when most products which have just softened you up with all the hype tell you they can give you what you want for whatever small Dollar figure. ( Remember the Sharks ) Put an image of a White Pointer on your desktop and look at it if you are tempted.

Stay away from, and this is just my view:
  • Matrix Systems - Good Pyramid Scheme's if ever there was one, these will only work if you have just started it yourself so of course your going to get money and have "Bankrolled" it to get started, or if you have been in this game for awhile with a large loyal following or Downline as they are generally called and even then remember only a small percentage will join.
  • Any Program or System that makes you pay monthly and this covers alot.
  • Any Program or System that you are NOT Passionate about and that's a big one.
Most people want to do this type of Business because they hate their old one, you know how you feel about that job, "Are You Passionate", probably not and the same level of Motivation will exist if you don't like a Product online to Promote, Don't even waste your time giving it a crack, it wont work.

Ok so We have to be Passionate about a Product or Industry, You should also try to be an Expert in that Product or Industry field.

If there is one thing I Have Learnt it was from Mike Dillard , (Again i'm not selling anything but have a look if you like), and that was "YOU have to become a Leader in what You Do".

"Would you follow a monkey into battle with your life??" or "Would you follow A Great Leader"

The Monkey will be eating the banana while it all falls apart around them, The Great Leader will lead you to Victory and Inpart skills that you can learn from to be a Great Leader Yourself.

Let me put it another way.

How many of us have had Bad customer service, you went looking for a product, asked a few questions only to be stared at blankly by the Sales Person.
Now remember a Time you went looking for a Product, asked the Sales Person a few questions and he gave you confidently all the answers you wanted.

Who Did You Buy From or Would Buy From?

You have to become a Leader in what you sell!!

So be Passionate about what you Sell and be a leader for your Product.

Now when i say Product this can be anything you like, it may be a hobby, you may like travel, you may like pets, whatever you are Passionate about.
Because what you are going to do is sell the Idea that you are he one that everyone should follow for advice, the products you sell because of this is just a reward for helping someone.

In Affiliate Marketing there are literally millions of things to sell as i have talked about before in my previous posts, so how do we promote these without costing us everything we have.

"Create A Blog about it" , simple.

Blogs are Free, you don't have to have a Domain Name if you don't want to, you can tap into Facebook using a Unique application called "Network Blogs", you can Twitter links, you can upload Video's, Pictures, Tons of things on your Blog and more importantly for you through Affiliate Networks like Commission Junction, ClickBank , or heaps of others, you just have to put one or two products somewhere in the blog or at the end of it to promote it.

Note of Caution Not all blogs are Free and some are better than others so look around and choose the one your comfortable with.

Now you have to Update your Blog on a Regular Basis, thats why people read them to see what else is new.

Another way to Promote Free is to use "You Tube" again it can be loaded into all sorts of Free Social Networking Sites, be creative as with Video's and Websites it has to Capture a Person within a Few Seconds otherwise they will be clicking off to another one, we all do it so we know it's true.

Lets Go Over what we have been talking about:
  1. Be Passionate
  2. Be a Leader
  3. Use Blogs, You Tube other Social Networking Sites
  4. Don't give up, if it isn't working just rethink what you are creating and ask friends to give you Honest Feedback with what they think of what your Blogs,Etc look like.
  5. Avoid the Sharks!!
Now this will all take time to start building Momentum, it's not going to happen overnight unless it's an amazing blog, but it wont cost you alot of money either.

Next we will talk about the Advantages of having your Own website, which can be Free To.

Aussie Pete..

Facebook Affiliate Advertising

Facebook Affiliate Advertising

Once a hobby and perhaps source of revenue, Facebook has emerged as a real competitor in the quest for advertising dollars.
The site, which depending on the day has a valuation ranging from $6 billion to $15 billion (compared with Google and Apple's roughly $150 billion or Yahoo's $20 billion), will have us looking back one day in less than two years thinking a) I can't believe it's worth $80 billion already, b) I always knew it would be, and c) I really hate those people who were allowed to invest $40k as friends / luminaries and now made $10 million.
A key component in Facebook's ascension relies on the relationship the company has with not just its users but its advertisers. And, as we saw with Yahoo, the relationship with the advertisers involves their attracting the right advertisers and not pissing off those advertisers, let alone the users. Unlike Google, when Facebook entered the self-service platform space, a relatively mature ad ecosystem, in particular, a mature performance marketing ecosystem existed. More importantly, they had some sense of what to watch out and prepare for. Luckily for affiliate marketers, rather than focus solely on premium advertisers, they started off with a relatively affiliate friendly attitude.
Facebook's relatively affiliate friendly attitude shows perhaps most notably by their presence at tradeshows such as Affiliate Summit. For two shows in a row, they have had a table at the Meet Market. Not surprisingly, Facebook has found their friendliness tested by the continued cleverness of some of these same affiliates. How were they to know the impact that Obama might have on government grants or that there would be a proliferation of google ebooks? They couldn't, and they have found themselves adjusting, like a pit boss or chief of security at a casino trying to keep an eye on the house's winnings.
The house's learning, in this case Facebook, are reflected in the evolving Ad Guidelines. Unlike other company's that rely on advertisers, Facebook has more than one place where advertisers can market to users. The first is their self-service flyer's program, inventory owned and operated by Facebook. The second is the wild west of the applications, inventory created by Facebook users interacting with embedded third-party applications but with ad inventory that doesn't monetarily benefit Facebook (for now).
The Ad Guidelines, "...apply to all ads appearing on Facebook, including ads within canvas pages of Facebook Platform applications." Think of what it is like trying to set up guidelines. For many in our space, it usually means finding a similar company's terms and conditions and then doing some quick find and replace to make it their own. Here, it has become more of a living / breathing thing. They can't just set it and forget it as Mr. Popeil would say.
Scanning through the guidelines, it's easy to see where affiliates have left their mark. Take for example Section 5, Prohibited Content. Included in the list, "Get rich quick and other money making opportunities that offer compensation for little or no investment, including money making schemes positioned as alternatives to part-time or full-time employment", as well as "Adult friend finders or dating sites with a sexual emphasis", and "Uncertified pharmaceutical products."
Section 8 is also of interest. It reads, "If an ad includes a price, discount, or ‘free' offer, "1.the destination URL for the ad must link to a page that clearly and accurately offers the exact deal the ad has displayed", and "2. the ad must clearly state what action or set of actions is required to qualify for the offer." But, it's Section 9 that is the most interesting. Section 9 deals with Subscription Services, and "may include sites that promote downloading ringtones, wallpaper, or text messages for predictions, love life advice, news, personality quizzes, or other entertainment services or any site that induces a user to sign up for recurring billing of a product or service."
Facebook doesn't say they are prohibited. Nowhere do they suggest that subscription services shouldn't be advertised. Instead, they seem to understand the internet ecosystem's reliance on them. Many of these services apply less to the flyer's program and more to the application inventory. Targeting on Facebook flyer's is good, but targeting on the applications is your ads on crack. On the regular site, you can narrow / refine your audience based on parameters, but with application inventory, you can actually pass in parameters to make the ads more personalized.
There, you not just target men between certain ages, but say , your friend says . Just imagine an ad that says, "Can you beat today's top score?" compared with one that says, "John, Jim thinks you're stupid." The latter, especially when applied to subscription text message services for mobile phones worked a little too well and precipitated the "Good Ads Make For A Good Ecosystem" post by Facebook. It's a good read, and this part should sound familiar to any that track the mobile subscription space. They saw "ads that undermine trust, abuse users, or otherwise violate policy" and took "action to stop them." They "prohibited entire advertising networks from providing services to applications, because the networks weren't compliant with our policies and failed to correct their practices."
What we are really talking about in both Facebook and Yahoo is not so much whether affiliate marketing is good or bad for their business but the growing pains that come with owning lots of inventory. Facebook had such a grand vision of combining personalization and advertising, but it hasn't worked either when it launched Beacon or when savvy marketers create a similar experience by working with the application developers. Yahoo has always wanted to be the premier brand spend.
But with so much inventory, each has had to modify their business due to those in the performance marketing space. Facebook has started out more amenable, whereas Yahoo only recently with the media recession became accessible to a wider array of performance advertisers. The next phase of each's growth is critical not just for them but for performance marketers as we must watch and see just how open, if at all, they continue to be.
